On this page we want to give a little overview on our works and what we offer.
Software from sailors for sailors and motorboaters
Perhaps you did already come up with software for sailors and motorboaters which seems very promising at first sight, but by using it you have a feeling that the devlopers have never been on a trip with a yacht. We had this feeling quite often while testing new software.
This is the reason why we decided to develop software by sailors for sailors and motorboaters. A strong team of experienced developers and designers—all with high practical relevance—is the basis of 2K Yachting.
At Logbook Suite and Apps you can discover our selection of user-friendly software for sailors and motorboaters.
The popular software package Logbook Suite(for Mac, Windows and iPad) provides additionally to the digital logbook Logbook a selection of useful tools for sailors and motorboaters, called Add-ons.
And if Logbook is too extensive for you, the iPhone app Logbook Lite offers a simplified logbook for the small trip.
The apps Ship's Bell (for iPhone), WorldEnsigns (for iPad and iPhone), SignalFlags Tool (for smartphones and tablets with iOS and Android), BoardCash (for iPhone and iPad), and RegattaPlanner (for iPhone, iPad and PC) complete our range of software.

New Logbook function “NMEA Test” simplifies testing the NMEA connection
Use the new “NMEA Test” function (from Logbook 6.4.0) to test your NMEA connection before starting the automatic data recording and before setting off without creating an entry. This way you can be sure that the data reception works perfectly from the first entry.

Logbook Suite 2.5 with new module Provisions
With version 2.5, we are adding Spanish to the languages offered by Logbook Suite. Initially, Spanish only can be selected in Logbook. We will gradually add Spanish to other modules via internal updates.
The new module Provisions is a useful tool for planning meals during a voyage and helps you not to forget anything when shopping.

The version Logbook Suite 2.4,available since today, contains various improvements as well as a new handling of PDF files on the PC, with which the PDF files are also displayed under Windows 11.

Logbook Lite 2.0
The update to Logbook Lite 2.0 is now available for download in the Apple App Store.
Logbook Lite 2.0 offers the possibility to record log values and to calculate the distances under motor and under sail.

Logbook Suite 2.3 with Logbook 6.0
The update to Logbook Suite 2.3 with support for Logbook Pro is now available. Logbook Pro offers, in addition to the features of Logbook NMEA and the Auto-NMEA function, the new Dark Mode.
In Dark Mode, Logbook's views and dialogs are optimized for nighttime viewing. The layouts with red text on a dark background ensure a glare-free display of the logbook even in almost complete darkness.

Logbook 5.4
From now on Logbook can be updated to version 5.4. The new version allows to record the number of days and nights underway, in port and at anchor.

Today we released our new iPhone app Logbook Lite.
Logbook Lite is a digital logbook for the iPhone, aimed at all sailors and powerboaters who tend to do small trips and cruises rather than go on big voyages.

The new version 2.0 of RegattaPlanner is now online.
It offers a much improved usability and includes prepared schedulers for the years 2021, 2022 and 2023.

Scheduler 3.2.0
For the new version 3.2.0 of Scheduler, we have made improvements to the user interface and optimized the usability. Possible problems that may have occurred recently after operating system updates have been fixed.

New: Logbook Suite 2.2 and Logbook Suite PhoneTools
Since today the new version 2.2 of Logbook Suite is online. The new version comes with the new add-on Budget, with which you can record and evaluate the costs for your ship.
There is also a new app for the iPhone called Logbook Suite PhoneTools. With this app you can use the Add-ons BoardCash, Budget, First-Aid Kit and Inventory now also on the iPhone.

New: Logbook Suite 2.1
The new version 2.1 of Logbook Suite is online now. With the enhancement of the synchronization service SYNC by the function "SYNC new file" it is now possible to upload the complete data stock of a file to the SYNC server, not only the changes. So you can transfer complete files to your other devices at any time.

Update for iPad-App LogbookNMEA connect to Version 2.3
The new version 2.3 of our communication app LogbookNMEA connect, which is available in the App Store since today, can now also detect and ignore errors in the NMEA data so that the data is transferred to Logbook without errors. Read more here.

The new version 2.0 of Logbook Suite is online now. With the new synchronization service SYNC the administration of your ship and voyage data with Logbook Suite becomes even more comfortable. Because with SYNC you can synchronize the data of all modules of Logbook Suite between your devices via the Internet.

Update for iPad App LogbookNMEA connect to Version 2.2.0
The App Store provides an update for our Logbook Suite communication app LogbookNMEA connect to version 2.2.0 .
The most important new features are an optimization for iOS 13 and an improvement in data acquisition for unstable transducers.
We recommend all users who use Logbook with NMEA function on the iPad to update the app.

Update for App BoardCash to Version 2.1.1
The App Store provides an update for the iOS app BoardCash to version 2.1.1 including BoardCash 2.4.4.
In BoardCash Start the link for downloading empty files has been changed to https and the access to files outside the app has been optimized for iOS 13.
BoardCash now displays all negative amounts in red.

New at 2K Yachting: Compatible Hardware for Logbook Suite
In our online shop we now offer in the new section Hardware selected devices of the innovative manufacturer Yacht Devices.
Our current product range includes different multiplexers and gateways which are easy to install and work optimally with Logbook as well as thermometers, barometers and hygrometers to measure weather data and add them to Logbook entries.

Update for Logbook Suite to 1.4 (1)
Logbook Suite 1.4 (1) is available now. With this free update we provide you with all the latest data files that were already available for download on our server, now directly in the app. The new update function of the Logbook Suite Manager informs you when new data files for individual modules are available on our server and allows an automatic update of your current files. No manual download and import of the data is necessary anymore.

Update for App BoardCash available
An update for the iOS App BoardCash to version 2.1) with BoardCash 2.4.2 is available in the App Store. This version comes with an improved display on the iPhone. It also automatically adjusts related deposits when expenses are changed. It is no longer possible to accidentally delete or change these deposits.

Logbook 4.0.7 in download
Logbook 4.0.7 is now available via the download function. The new version contains improvements for automatic overnight travels as well as a new button for manual entries while Auto-NMEA is active. Read more about the changes here.
Logbook 4.0.5 in download
Logbook 4.0.5 is now available via the download function. We recommend all customers who have imported data from an old Logbook file and are using the NMEA feature on their iPad to update to this version. Read more about the changes here.

For those who have experienced problems with Logbook in Logbook Suite 1.4, now version 4.0.3 is available for download via Logbook Suite Manager. Read more about the changes here.
New: Logbook Suite 1.4
From today the new version 1.4 of Logbook Suite with Logbook 4 is online. The with Logbook 4 new Auto-NMEA function is able to independently record GPS/NMEA data and save it in the background. This allows Logbook to make fully automatic logbook entries and draw a detailed track.
Of course Logbook Suite 1.4 brings many more new features to Logbook and the Add-ons. Learn more about the new features here.
Update to Logbook Suite 1.3 1.3 (4)
Logbook Suite 1.3 (4) is available now. The free update contains the first major update of Biography (1.1) and minor corrections in almost all tools.
To update the existing installation, simply download the iPad update from the App Store or download and run the new installers for Mac and Windows. This will replace the current program installation.
Customers who own a PC license for Logbook will find the installer in their shop account and do not need to fill out the form.
All data files with default names are automatically updated during the update. Learn more about the changes here.
Update for App BoardCash available
An update for the iOS App BoardCash to version 2.0 (2) with BoardCash 2.3.5 is available in the App Store. In addition to minor bug fixes, the new web address of the ECB for downloading exchange rates has been implemented. All fixes are listed here.
Important note to update to Logbook Suite 1.3 (3)
If you don't see the version number 1.3 (3) on the start screen after updating to Logbook Suite 1.3 (3), please download and run the installer again from our website.
Unfortunately in some places the installer was not replaced with the latest version. We have fixed this now. This applies to the installers for Mac and for the Windows 64-bit version.
We apologize for this error.

After we had to remove the iPad version of Logbook Suite from the App Store on Monday evening to fix a bug in the data update, since this morning the new version 1.3 (2) is now available.

Good news for all users of Logbook Suite, BoardCash and RegattaPlanner on the iPad: The latest update for the iPad app Dropbox fixed the bug that could cause problems when saving files from our apps to the dropbox.

Important note for iOS 11 and Dropbox
We would like to inform you that the Dropbox app on iOS 11 is not compatible with our apps Logbook Suite, BoardCash and RegattaPlanner. Therefore, currently files should not be stored in the Dropbox. It is recommended to copy files using iTunes or to use a different cloud platform.
We hope that there will soon be an update for the Dropbox app that will solve the issue.

boot 2017 in Düsseldorf
Tonight the boot 2017 closed its doors after 9 days of fair. We again had been present with our booth and had been able to demonstrate Logbook Suite to many interessed visitors.
It was very inspiring for us to talk with so many customers who already use Logbook Suite. The list of ideas for expanding the suite has grown.

In a few days the new version Logbook 3.7 will be available. Logbook 3.7 provides both in Logbook itself and in the Add-ons many small improvements and enhancements of existing features. A new addition is Swedish as a third language for the user interface.
